A member applying for a Salary Loan must have made a total of 36 months of contribution . He or she must have also paid 6 months of contribution in the last 12 months.
For one-month loan, the member-borrower must have 36 posted monthly contributions prior to the month of filing of application (Max of 20,000.00 Loan amount).
For a two-month loan, the member-borrower must have 72 posted monthly contributions prior to the month of filing of application (Max of 40,000.00 Loan amount).
The loan shall be charged a nominal interest of 10% per annum. First year's interest shall be deducted in advance from the proceeds of the loan. Second year's interest shall be included in the monthly amortizations.
The loan may be renewed after the prescribed amortization period of two (2) years. Balance of PSOO or less shall be deducted from the proceeds of the new loan.
For employed member-borrower (including participants of the fast track program), the first deduction from their salaries shall start on the second month following the date of loan. All remittances shall be made on or before the 10th day following the applicable month of deduction to the SSS or to any of its authorized banks.
The employee is obliged to report to the new employer his obligations with SSS and shall allow the new employer to deduct from his salary the corresponding amortizations due, plus any penalty for late remittance of amortizations.
In case a member-borrower is separated voluntarily, (e.g. retirement or resignation) or involuntarily, (e.g. termination of employment or cessation of operations of the company), the employer shall be required to deduct the total balance of the loan from any benefit(s) due to the employee to the final pay and shall remit the same in full to SSS.
If the benefit(s) due the employee or the amount thereof legally available for offset of obligations of the employee is insufficient to fully repay the loan, the employer shall report the unpaid loan balance to SSS.
Any over-payment on a previous salary loan shall be applied to a subsequent loan, if any. Otherwise, the over-payment shall be refunded upon request of the member-borrower.

The page will show you five options. Choose one information you’ve previously registered in SSS.
Savings Account Number / Citibank Cash Card / UBP Quick Card / UMID – ATM Saving Account Number Registered in SSS
Mobile Number Registered in SSS
UMID CARD
Employer ID Number / Household Employer ID Number
Payment Reference Number / SBR No. / Payment Receipt Transaction Number
Make sure to leave no required field blank or incorrectly filled out. Some things to keep in mind:
If your last name and/or given name exceeds the character limit, just use the format of your name on your SSS ID or UMID card.
You can leave the Middle Name field blank if you have no middle name, as it’s not required info.
To input your date of birth, use the drop-down calendar to prevent an error in your SSS online registration.

Don’t forget to enter the captcha code at the bottom of the page and tick the small box next to “I accept the Terms of Service.”
When you’re done, double-check all information. Click the Submit button. A short message will appear to confirm the successful submission of your enrollment for SSS online registration. Click OK.
After you submit your My.SSS web registration application, SSS will validate your info against its records. If they match, you’ll receive an email from web.notifications@sss.gov.ph after half an hour. The message contains an activation link and your user ID.
If the email address you provided is not Yahoo Mail (e.g., Gmail, Hotmail, etc.), check your Spam folder if you can’t find the SSS email in your main inbox.
Once you receive the email from SSS, click on the activation link. You need to activate your account immediately up to five days. Or else, the activation link will expire, and you will have to register again.
Clicking on the link will direct you to a page where you’ll be required to create a password and re-type to confirm it. Be sure your password meets these requirements:
Eight to 20 alphanumeric numbers
The first character is an alphabet
No special characters
Must be different from your user ID
When you’re done, click the Submit button. If the two passwords match, you will be directed immediately to your My.SSS account.
Log in your account at the My.SSS Online portal.
Click on E-services at the second navigation bar to get the drop-down options. Choose apply for Salary Loan to proceed with the application
The loan is equivalent to one month’s or two months’ worth of your salary after making at least 36 months total contributions, and 6 months of contributions in the last twelve months.
In the case of a two-month salary loan, there need to be at least 72 months of posted contributions and 6 months of contributions in the last twelve months.
This loan has a 10% interest rate per year, and the extension of the loan payments will be determined by the amount of time you’ve have been an active contributor.
You may renew the loan if you have paid off at least 50% of your original loan.
Choose how much you want to loan. The drop down menu will only display available options based on your employment tenure and the number of contributions you have in your SSS account.
Notify your People Operations Team that you filed an application for an SSS Salary loan. People Operations Team will approve your SSS Online online application through QuadX SSS online account.
The cheque will arrive at the mailing address QuadX after three to four weeks from the day it was approved by the People Operations team. You must encash it within 3 months from issue date at any PNB branch, otherwise, it would be void.
